Artist-Reference-Photo.co.uk was conceived by Rosalind Lee ( an amateur artist ) and her partner John Waterman ( a hobby photographer ). Ros was always asking John to look out pictures to paint or draw and when out and about would make sure suitable photos were taken to use as inspiration in the future.

With John's portfolio of photo's  and Ros' eye for which ones were helpful as the basis for her pictures there soon grew a diverse library of material available for artistic interpretation! One day Ros had the bright idea of making this archive available to other artists through the Web and Rosjo Enterprises Ltd and artist-reference-photo.co.uk were born!!

We are not expecting to make our fortune with this but it would be great to cover the cost of site programming, advertising and development. We hope you find the photos useful and will support the site by subscribing and using it regularly.
